Good but seems like very old product

I like Honey Girl and how it makes my skin almost instantly smoother. Very little is needed to provide great moisturizing. My only issue, which is one making me consider not buying again, is that it smells musty and expired; it also feels ever so slightly gritty on application. I haven’t purchased Honey Girl enough to compare and it’s been a long time in between my last purchase, so maybe something has changed in the way it’s formulated, but I’m only guessing. I’m still using it but would like to hear from Honey Girl if this is exactly the way it IS supposed to be. If I remember correctly, my last purchase of the same cream had a fresh very light scent to it and there was no grittiness at all. This one just smells musty and is a bit gritty but hasn’t made a difference in the fact that it is an excellent face cream.
