Honey Girl Organics doesn't have an SPF rating on our products because the actual SPF you derive from a product depends on many variables and you can easily fool yourself into thinking you are protected when you are not. SPF is often misleading due to the large amount of sunscreen needed to rub into your skin and then be reapplied. It is surprisingly more than you think! We usually apply a thin layer and think we are getting the SPF advertised. This is false. If you apply a thin layer of an SPF 30 product and don't reapply often enough, you are getting a much lower level of sun protection, as low as 10 or less SPF. It's also important to take the amount of time in the sun, the weather and water conditions, sweating, etc. into consideration. Thankfully, there are a growing number of sunscreens that are non-toxic and chemical-free. Now it's a matter of following the instructions or adding additional protection like hats and protective apparel to your routine!

1. Glide stick directly onto clean, dry skin—focus on high-exposure areas (cheeks, nose, lips, ears).
2. Blend with fingertips for a smooth, natural finish.
3. Reapply as needed, especially after swimming, sweating, toweling, or extended outdoor exposure.
4. Use with additional protective measures (hat, shade, UV-protective clothing).
5. For external use only.
