The Lotion gets its golden color from organic extra virgin olive oil, organic beeswax, organic raw Hawaiian honey, organic palmarosa essential oil and organic German chamomile essential oil. You will also find pollen, propolis and royal jelly in the beeswax and honey.ย

How to useย
Shake gently before each use. Squeeze a small amount onto the palm of your hand and spread liberally onto your skin as desired. The Lotion will spread more easily after a shower or bath on slightly moist skin. Can also be used as a face lotion.
Honey Girl Tip: We love using The Lotion as our face moisturizer in the summer time. Mist Facial Toner on clean face, then follow with a small amount of lotion on your face, neck and dรฉcolletage. It feels a little lighter than our regular face creams - perfect for warmer and more humid summer days - but is still full of all the nutrients your skin needs.ย

Purified Water
Hawaiian purified water is used in our formulations primarily as a solvent. Water helps form the emulsions in which the oil and water components of the product are combined.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
We chose organic extra virgin olive oil because of its unique ability to be absorbed and supply nutrition to the skin. It is the most compatible oil to human skin because it has a similar composition of fatty acids. Therefore it absorbs deeply into your skin resulting in long lasting moisture and nutrition absorption.
It is also soothing and healing to all skin types and is high in antioxidants, including Vitamin E and Vitamin A, which protect against age-accelerating free radicals.
The flavonoidย polyphenols in olive oil are natural anti-oxidants which have been shown to have a host of beneficial effects, including healing sunburned skin. It also has antibacterial properties and the ability to inhibit substances that lead to inflammation.
Olive oil has been used by women as a cosmetic for thousands of years. We use extra virgin because it hasnโt been refined and conserves all of itsโ nutritional values.
Organic Beeswax
is a nutrient-rich substance secreted by bees in order to make honeycomb. A recent study found that unfiltered beeswax contains 300 micronutrients. We include it in our formulations to soften and hydrate the skin while creating a long-lasting protective coating against the elements.
Beeswax contains wax esters that also exist in human skin. It is a natural hydrating agent that increases essential moisture in the skin. Beeswax has a very low irritation potential, is an antiseptic and promotes healing and softening of the skin. It is a naturally nourishing moisturizer as well as being anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiallergenic and a germicidal antioxidant.
Beeswax obtains its golden color from the propolis and bee pollen inside, both also known for their incredible health benefits.
The beeswax helps lock in your skinโs own moisture, nourishes skin cells and creates a barrier against the destruction caused by our environment. Beeswax is one of the oldest and purest natural waxes. For hundreds of years, it has been used in creams, lipsticks and other cosmetics. It is also edible in small amounts and has been used to coat foods and medicines.
Organic Wilelaiki Honey
Honey has been known for centuries to heal wounds and treat infection. It is antioxidant, antibiotic, antiviral and contains anti-inflammatory properties. When water is combined with honey, hydrogen peroxide is released in small amounts over time so that the antibiotic effect on your skin works slowly and very gently, making it ideal for sensitive skin. This helps greatly to reduce blemishes and pimples. Honey also stimulates collagen production, which is very important in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Known also for its antioxidant properties, honey is a free-radical scavenger- it neutralizes damaging free radicals at the molecular level.
