Statement from HGO

Aloha HGO Ohana,

Fourteen years ago, Honey Girl Organics made a commitment to Green Beauty: to do everything we can to ensure that our skincare is safe, healthy, and effective for all our customers. In this uncertain time, our promise remains firm. We are dedicated to the safety and health of our customers and have been doing everything in our power to stay on top of this pandemic. 

As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) affects us in diverse ways, we have been and will continue to strictly follow the guidelines of the CDC, WHO, and our state and federal governments. HGO's top priority is the keep our customers and employees safe during this unprecedented time and continue to deliver exceptional products as long as possible. 

Here's what we are doing

As a USDA certified organic facility, we always follow very strict guidelines for cleanliness and sanitation in our creamery. Jars are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized and our freshly made creams are created in a sterile environment free from germs. No worker showing any symptoms is allowed on-site without a doctor's note and clean bill of health. 

In addition, we are following these guidelines for all departments in our facility:

  • Keeping it clean: Company-wide we’re constantly cleaning surfaces, doorknobs, handles and all high-traffic areas
  • Keeping it pure: All employees' workstations are being cleaned several times every day. We have equipped all workstations with additional cleaning and sanitizing supplies and our team is following the prescribed safety protocols of increased handwashing, sanitizing and maintaining social distancing protocols.
  • Work from home: All employees that can work remotely are staying at home.
  • Planning ahead: We are keeping updated with all relevant news from the WHO and CDC. 

We are continuing to ship orders and will adjust as new information becomes available. If there are any changes and delays in shipping, we will send updates through our email and website.
