Do you know what the first Honey Girl Organics' product was? And do you know why this was the first one? As with many stories, this story is one of LOVE - love for his wife and love for the bees.
It all started over 20 years ago when Anthony, Gwen and Christina (the HGO founders) moved to Hawaii and discovered their home was already occupied by bees. Instead of getting rid of them, they decided to keep them and Anthony found his calling as a beekeeper.
At the same time, Gwen and Christina started looking for their perfect healthy, chemical-free moisturizers. Gwen had noticed how soft and smooth Anthony's hands had become after a honey harvest. It seemed the beeswax and honey healed and soothed his calloused and dry hands and Gwen asked Anthony to make a hand cream with the beehive ingredients.
...and so he did.
